What You'll Do

  • Own the calendar: Coordinate depositions, hearings, and travel for busy attorneys.
  • Be the backbone of litigation: Draft, proof, and e-file critical legal documents (motions, discovery, appeals, and more).
  • Trial prep like a pro: Assemble trial notebooks, exhibits, and case binders; track deadlines and manage docket reminders.
  • Client-facing excellence: Communicate with clients, witnesses, opposing counsel, and court personnel with confidence and discretion.
  • Keep it organized: Manage billing, time entry, expense reports, and maintain meticulous case files.

Qualifications

  • Experience that counts: 3+ years as a litigation legal secretary in a law firm setting.
  • Technical mastery: Advanced Microsoft Word/Outlook skills; Excel, PowerPoint, and iManage experience a plus.
  • Speed + accuracy: Typing 70+ wpm with flawless grammar and formatting.
  • Detail-driven multitasker: Highly organized, proactive, and able to juggle competing priorities with ease.
  • Knowledge is power: Strong understanding of legal terminology, court rules, and e-filing procedures.
